Elegance and freshness abound in this Pinot Noir from a dry-farmed vineyard that is treated biodynamically. Completely destemmed fruit is fermented in concrete. Gorgeous black cherry, fresh red raspberry, juicy strawberries abound, joined in by reserved notes of loam, lavender, and sandalwood. Medium-bodied with loads of sleek tannins, which are quickly washed away by vibrant acidity. Blood orange and chopped mint emerge in the finish along with cinnamon spice. While still young, there is plenty to love about this wine right now. If you want to drink soon, splash decant and let sit for a good hour; otherwise this is one that could be laid down for a solid decade in the cellar. -Michael A. Descamps, RWWT
