Domaine Louis Michel "Grenouilles" Chablis Grand Cru 2019

Mid lemon colour. The two exponents of Grenouilles with, which I am most familiar, this one and Benoît Droin’s are quite similar in 2019 though one has a wood component and Louis Michel’s of course does not. Both seem at ease in the hot dry conditions as a spicy character is part of Grenouilles. Hot years seem to complement this terroir rather than expose it. The overrising characteristic is of white fruit infused with peppers. Worth laying down for the long term.
