The 2014 Langhe Giarborina (Nebbiolo) is gorgeous. Ample and intense, with quite a bit more depth than the Larigi, the Giarborina exudes class. Sweet red cherry, plum, spice, mint and pomegranate infuse the creamy, layered finish. All the elements fall into place effortlessly. The success of Nebbiolo in this vintage comes through loud and clear. The Giarborina is an unqualified success for the year.
