I loved the 2019 Chardonnay Beyond The Threshold, which comes entirely from the Sonoma Coast. Revealing a light gold hue as well as a captivating nose of crushed citrus, stone fruits, green almonds, and toasted bread, it has a beautiful, Meursault-like richness and nuttiness, medium to full body, nicely integrated acidity, and a great, great finish. It’s another impeccably made Chardonnay from this estate that will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and cruise for a solid decade or more in cold cellars.
