Note: 25+ year old vines aged in 25% new wood. Pungent aromas of moderate reduction and wood toast render the nose tough to evaluate today. More interesting are the caressing yet intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that are blessed with an abundance of dry extract that buffers the firm acid spine shaping the beautifully long finish. This needs better depth but that should just be a question of exercising some patience.*Burghound Outstanding!
