This estate-grown, multiclone blend is bright and sassy, with spicy herbs around fresh flavors of wild strawberries and sour cherries. The peppery herbs just lift the flavors, and the overall balance is refreshing and buttressed with mineral notes of wet stone. Just 20% of the barrels were new, adding a light burst of baking spices to the finish. Give this another year or two of bottle age and it should be in a prime drinking window.
