This shows aromas of dark fruit, underbrush and fresh blackberries with hints of plums, thyme, herbs and oak. Medium- to full-bodied, it combines contained yet voluminous dark fruit with imposing though polished tannins. Structured and supported by ample flesh, it’s approachable but will benefit from additional bottle age.

Vineyards are located in Haro and the surrounding villages of Ollauri, Cihuri, Gimileo, and Villalba – bush vines of over 50 years on limestone soils. Naturally low yields of 1.5kg per vine. Roda I is characteristically deeper and darker with black fruit aromas and flavors compared to Roda.
