Based on the challenging 2017 vintage, the 745 is a 53% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 17% Pinot Meunier aged four years in fine lees and finished with a 0.75 grams per liter dosage as a Brut Nature. Aromas of red apples, quince paste, cranberries and goldenrod honey emerge and are a little restrained oxidative lending a pretty wilted character to the nose. Medium-bodied and delicate, the palate centers on sweet orchard fruit dotted with lemon and honey notes intermingling with a buoyant, textural acid freshness that stimulates through a long, delicate finish.
