The 2015 Vosne AC is outstanding from the Drouhins this year, with more of a 2010-like personality than the Chambolle villages. This blend includes grapes from the premier crus of Chaumes and Malconsorts this year, in addition to larger parcels down by the RN-74. The bouquet is pure and vibrant, wafting from the glass in a mix of black raspberries, black cherries, bitter chocolate, dark soil tones, woodsmoke, Vosne spice and a touch of lead pencil. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, precise and sappy at the core, with excellent mineral drive, suave tannins and a very long, vibrant and tangy finish.
