This is a firmly textured, concentrated and muscular wine from Beckstoffer's Lake County property that will need time to open. Currently, tightly wound black cherry, cranberry and blueberry notes are reined in by integrated but chewy tannins, while rich, luxurious chocolate and cherry flavors emerge on the palate and grow on the finish.
